Samuel passed away in Sharon Center, Medina, OH, USA on Thursday, December 23, 1847 at the age of 72.
He is buried in the Arnold Family Cemetery which consists of 3 graves and is situated on private land. It is located East of Sharon Center on the North side of State Route 162 (Sharon-Copley Rd) near the intersection of Burdett Rd, West of Greenleaf County Park. The other two graves are for his wife, Elizabeth Plumb; and his daughter Margaret Arnold.
